How It Works

SanTan Solar has launched an affiliate program enabling fans of the brand and solar panels to receive a commission for products they help market on santansolar.com via affiliate links from traffic sent from their own websites, blogs, forums and video content.

Cookie Duration

When an affiliate shares a link to www.santansolar.com a tracking unit called a cookie will be placed in the browser of each visitor. This cookie will identify the affiliate link they clicked and when someone purchases with one of these cookie trackers in their browser it will automatically attribute the sale to the affiliate. The cookie tracking length is 30 days.

Promotion & Advertising

All promotion and advertising needs to be inline with SanTan marketing. Any and all advertising or promotion of SanTan Solar Services brand or images should be connected to the solar community. Honest reviews of products and services are acceptable. As a wholesome family owned and family friendly company, SanTan Solar Services specifically requests that no affiliate marketing involves any pornography, gambling or other unseemly industries. If there are questions please reach out to your affiliate manager for approval.

Reserve The Right To Approve Or Reject

SanTan Solar Services reserves the right to approve or reject any applicant or affiliate at any time for any reason. We reserve the right not to disclose the details of any approval or rejection decision.

Commission Details

SanTan Solar Services offers a 5% commission on all products. Primarily all affiliate sales should go through the website. If someone calls and mentions a specific affiliate, SanTan Solar Services can attribute commission to a person, but reserves the right not to attribute any sales outside of the website. 

Identifying Yourself As An Affiliate

You must clearly and prominently state the following, or any substantially similar statement previously allowed under this Agreement, on your Site or any other location where SanTan Solar Services may authorize your display or other use of Program Content: “As a SanTan Solar Affiliate I earn from qualifying purchases.” Except for this disclosure, and other than as required by applicable law, you will not make any public communication with respect to this Agreement or your participation in the Affiliate Program without our advance written permission. You will not misrepresent or embellish our relationship with you (including by expressing or implying that we support, sponsor, or endorse you), or express or imply any affiliation between us and you or any other person or entity except as expressly permitted by this Agreement.

Termination At Any Time

SanTan Solar Services reserves the right to terminate any affiliate at any time for any reason.

The term of this Agreement will begin upon your registration for the Affiliate Program. Either you or we may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause (automatically and without recourse to the courts, if permitted under applicable law), by giving the other party written notice of termination provided that the effective date of such termination will be 7 calendar days from the date notice is provided. You can provide termination notice by contacting your affiliate manager. In addition, we may terminate this Agreement or suspend your account immediately upon written notice to you for any of the following: (a) you are in material breach of this Agreement, (b) you otherwise fail to cure within 7 days of our notice to you regarding any other breach of this Agreement (including any Program Policy); (c) we believe that we may face potential claims or liability in connection with your participation in the Affiliate Program; (d) we believe that our brand or reputation may be tarnished by you or in connection with your participation in the Affiliate Program; (e) your participation in the Affiliate Program has been used for deceptive, fraudulent or illegal activity; (f) we believe that we are or may become subject to tax collection requirements in connection with this Agreement or the activities performed by either party under this Agreement; (g) we have previously terminated this Agreement (or suspended your account) with respect to you or other persons that we determine are affiliated with you or acting in concert with you for any reason, or (h) we have terminated the Affiliate Program as we generally make it available to participants. For the avoidance of doubt and without limitation for purposes of the foregoing subsection (a) any violation of Section 5 and as specified in the Program Policies will be deemed a material breach of this Agreement.

We may hold accrued unpaid commission income for a reasonable period of time following termination to ensure that the correct amount is paid (for example, to account for any cancelations or returns).

Upon any termination of this Agreement, all rights and obligations of the parties will be extinguished, including any and all licenses granted in connection with this Agreement, and as specified in the terms and conditions, together with any payable but unpaid payment obligations under this Agreement, will survive the termination of this Agreement. No termination of this Agreement will relieve either party for any liability for any breach of, or liability accruing under, this Agreement prior to termination.

PPC Policy

For PPC advertising outside of what is disclosed here, please contact your affiliate manager and request specific permissions.

Advertisements

SanTan Solar Services grants the Affiliate a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use logos for the sole purpose of promoting our service within the context of the Affiliate Program. This license will expire upon termination of the Affiliate’s participation in the Affiliate Program.

The Affiliate may only display advertisements that contain SanTan Solar Services logos or service marks in good taste. The Affiliate may not use logos or service marks in a manner that, in sole discretion, portrays SanTan Solar Services in negative light.

The Affiliate will be solely responsible for its own marketing activities. All marketing activities must be professional and in full compliance with all applicable laws.

SanTan Solar Services may, without prior notice, require the Affiliate to remove or modify any advertisements in SanTan Solar Services sole discretion.

Liability

The Affiliate Program is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and the use of the Affiliate Program is at the Affiliate’s own risk. SanTan Solar Services makes no representations or warranties, either expressed or implied, with respect to the Affiliate Program, or any service or information provided through the Affiliate Program.

SanTan Solar Services is not responsible for any damages, injury or economic loss arising from the use of Affiliate Program. Should any part of the Affiliate Program cause damage or inconvenience to the Affiliate or anyone claiming through the Affiliate, the Affiliate assumes responsibility and the entire cost for them.

The Affiliate will indemnify and hold harmless SanTan Solar Services, its directors, officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries, and third parties from and against any losses, damages, liabilities, claims, judgments, settlements, fines, costs and expenses (including reasonable related expenses, legal fees, costs of investigation) arising out of or relating to the Affiliate’s or any third party’s operations or use of the Affiliate Program.

Electronic Signature

The Agreement is an electronic contract that sets out the legally binding terms of your participation in the SanTan Solar Services affiliate program. You indicate your acceptance of this Agreement and all of the terms and conditions contained or referenced in this Agreement by completing the application process. This action creates an electronic signature that has the same legal force and effect as a handwritten signature.
