Our primary mission is to provide a quality product at an affordable price. We are committed to serving our customers’ needs. We strive to provide unmatched customer service that extends well beyond our products and into every aspect of your energy needs. Our customers are very important to us, and we will do everything possible to make sure your experience with SanTan Solar is positive.

Price & Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, the customer agrees to pay the product price, plus any sales and use tax, and any costs associated with shipping the products to the customer. Payment must be received in full before SanTan Solar ships the products to you.

Please note that a 3% service fee will be applied to all payments made via credit card. If you prefer not to incur this service fee, we offer an alternative payment method through a direct bank transfer, which does not incur additional charges.

Credit card surcharges are non-refundable, even in the event of cancellation, as these fees are paid directly to the payment processor and not retained by our company.

The price and quantity available are subject to change. We do not guarantee the price or quantity of the product when we provide a quote. The product is only reserved when payment is received. The shipping costs provided in a quote are only valid on the day they were quoted. If you do not pay for the order the same day you received the quote, SanTan Solar will need to run another quote, and the price is subject to change.

If you would like to pick up your order at one of our locations and your order is over $2,000, we will need to have the person who ordered the product come to pick up and provide the credit card used in the purchase and a matching ID in order for SanTan Solar to release the products into your possession.

Orders over $10,000 must be paid in the form of a wire transfer or cashier’s check.

If the order is over $5,000 and the bill-to and ship-to addresses are different, we will require further verification.

Prices on e-platforms that are not our website, such as (but not limited to) Google and Facebook, may not display our accurate prices. We will only honor the pricing listed on our website.

Shipping

SanTan Solar offers a variety of shipping methods as listed below. Shipping times are based on business days (Monday to Friday), excluding holidays and weekends. Depending on your order, your purchase may arrive in multiple packages. Shipments cannot be rerouted once a package has been shipped.

If your order needs refunds due to shipping errors or damage in shipment, please submit a ticket on our website. We will not be sending out replacements for panels damaged during shipping. We recommend purchasing extra panels to account for shipping damages so your project is not affected or delayed.

Our website does the best it can to estimate shipping charges. Unfortunately, it is not always accurate. If shipping is significantly undercharged, we will contact the customer to collect additional shipping expenses. Additionally, our website can only accurately rate up to 6 pallets at one time. If you are planning to purchase more than 6 pallets, please call for a shipping quote.

We understand that often, professional installation is desired. However, we strongly suggest that you wait until you have received and verified the condition of your order before scheduling any work to commence with your SanTan Solar products. While we strive to provide the best quality products and expect a high level of service from our third-party carriers, we recognize that at times, a product or delivery method does not meet our standards or quoted delivery date. Due to unforeseen issues potentially occurring, we strongly suggest that you wait until you receive and verify your products, as we cannot be held responsible for delays in scheduled work.

We must be notified of concealed damage (any damage not notated on the delivery slip upon delivery) or product shortages within 3 days of delivery. We are not responsible for the disposal and/or any disposal fees associated with disposing of damaged panels.

A minimum of 10 panels are required per order for shipping. If you wish to purchase fewer than 10 panels, you can do so by picking them up locally. A salesperson will be able to assist you by calling +1 (480) 584-4281.

Continental U.S.

UPS Ground: Most SanTan Solar accessories/100w panels ship UPS Ground and can take between 3-5 business days.

Freight: Panels larger than 100W must be shipped by freight. Potential additional freight charges are listed below:

• Delivery to remote areas may incur an additional cost starting at $50
• Delivery to limited access areas, such as schools or churches, will incur additional costs starting at $50
• Deliveries that require a change of address or rescheduling will be subject to storage fees ($20/day) and/or rerouting fees ($75-$300).

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, & Canada

Yes, SanTan Solar can ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Canada, but cannot ship batteries. There is typically a surcharge. In the event we are running a shipping promotion, orders to Alaska, Hawaii, puerto Rico, and Canada do not apply. International

We are happy to assist you in creating an order to ship internationally. Unfortunately, we do not arrange international shipping. You will need to work with a salesperson to determine when your order will be available to pick up by a 3rd party logistics company. You will also need to provide us with the BOL for this shipment. International orders will be subject to customs clearance. You will bear responsibility for covering all customs costs. Will Call

If you are in the area and would like to pick up your order from our warehouse, we would love to have you. We do require an appointment to be scheduled to pick up your order at the time of purchase. Ownership of the product transfers to the customer at the time of purchase. We will store your order for 30 days from the time of purchase. After 30 days, SanTan Solar will return your order and refund you minus a 30% restocking fee.

If you are picking up locally and require a pallet for your order, we are happy to provide one for a $50 fee.

If you have placed an order under $2,000 and you’re not able to pick up your order but want to send someone else to pick it up for you, you must send them a copy of your ID and a signed note releasing the order to them.

You will need to check in at our showroom on the date of your scheduled pick-up in order to receive loading instructions.

Solar Panels are 50+ lbs. each with sharp corners that can potentially cause damage to you or your vehicle. SanTan Solar is not liable for any damage that may be sustained to your vehicle, including, but not limited to: scratched or ripped fabric, scratched or ripped leather, dented vehicle, scratched vehicle, while SanTan Solar Services employees are helping you load your vehicle. SanTan Solar will not assist you in loading your solar panel order until you sign the Release of Liability form. If you do not wish to sign the Release of Liability form, please bring someone to help you load your panels into your vehicle or trailer.

Warranty

SanTan Solar has a one-year replacement/repair warranty on the solar equipment we sell. SanTan Solar warrants products against manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship. Products damaged due to faulty installation, improper procedures, electrical surges, etc., will not be eligible for warranty coverage. Products will initially go through a troubleshooting process to correct the problem. Depending on the product, we could request testing with a voltmeter, pictures, videos, and other steps to help us diagnose the problem. If we are unable to fix the issue, we will issue an RMA with a prepaid shipping label to send the product back. For products that must be warrantied by the manufacturer, we will contact the vendor to arrange product replacement rather than returning the product to us.

The customer is responsible for ensuring packaging is adequate to prevent damage in transit. We are not responsible for damage to the product due to insufficient packaging. If the product is damaged while being properly packaged, it will be covered by SanTan Solar. Upon receipt of the product, it will be evaluated. The product must be returned in good condition, with no alterations or signs of abuse. The product must be received completely with no missing parts and not tampered with. Products arriving in this condition will be returned. It is under SanTan Solar’s sole discretion to either repair or replace a defective. unit. The product deemed not defective will be returned. if the defective unit cannot be repaired and the exact model is unavailable, we will replace it with a comparable unit. Once an RMA is approved and either repairs are made or a replacement unit is deemed necessary, the product will be shipped out to the customer.

*Please Note: All PV modules with OEM PV module warranty will not be covered by SanTan Solar’s limited material and workmanship warranty. Instead, OEM PV modules will be covered with the original manufacturer’s warranty, and the OEM PV modules’ warranty will be determined at the time of purchase.

Additionally, any warranty claims for products covered by the manufacturer’s warranty must be handled directly with the manufacturer. If the manufacturer’s warranty does not include labor costs associated with diagnosis, removal, or reinstallation of the product, SanTan Solar will not cover these costs.

Returns

At SanTan Solar, we work hard to ensure a positive shopping experience with us. For purchases made directly from our online store, if for any reason you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return your products with the original package within 30 days if they are undamaged and unmodified. We cannot guarantee that your item will be accepted for a refund or exchange if it does not meet these requirements. Returned orders may be subject to a 30% restocking fee. Other extenuating circumstances require special authorization.

SanTan Solar will pay the shipping costs of the returned item(s) for the following reasons: carrier damage, defective product, product inconsistent with advertisements, incorrect product received, or for any extra products you did not order. For all other reasons, customers are responsible for the return shipping fees.

*Please Note: SanTan Solar will not accept returns with product modifications, as it voids our warranty policy. Any modified products received will be returned to you at your expense.

Cancelations

SanTan Solar processes orders quickly to ensure timely delivery. Because of this, we operate under the following cancellation terms:

1. Standard Cancelations

• Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement and before the order has been prepared for shipment or scheduled for local pickup. To cancel, contact our Customer Service team at +1 (480) 584-4281 or submit a support ticket through our website.
• Orders canceled within this window will receive a full refund, minus any non-refundable transaction fees (e.g., credit card processing fees).

2. Late Cancelations

• If the order has already been prepared, packed, or staged for pickup or shipping, a 30% restocking fee will apply. Freight and handling fees are non-refundable.
• If the order has already shipped, it is no longer eligible for cancellation. Please refer to our Return Policy for next steps.

3. Custom or Special Orders

• Any order involving custom kits, system design, or special procurement cannot be canceled or refunded once the order is confirmed.

4. Fraudulent or Suspicious Orders

• SanTan Solar reserves the right to cancel any order suspected of fraud, misuse, or in cases where payment verification fails. In such cases, a refund will only be issued to the original payment method once the funds are confirmed as cleared and legitimate.

5. Chargeback Abuse

• Initiating a chargeback without first contacting SanTan Solar to resolve the issue will result in the forfeiture of your right to dispute the transaction directly with us. Any chargebacks found to be fraudulent or without merit may be pursued legally.

Chargebacks

SanTan Solar takes fraud and chargeback abuse seriously. We are committed to resolving disputes in a fair and transparent manner.

1. Communication First

Customers are required to contact SanTan Solar to attempt to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback with their financial institution. Most issues can be resolved quickly and without the need for escalation.

2. Unauthorized Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback for a valid, authorized transaction without following our cancellation or return procedures is considered chargeback abuse. If we determine that a chargeback was filed fraudulently or in bad faith, SanTan Solar reserves the right to:

• Dispute the chargeback with all supporting documentation;
• Ban the customer from making future purchases;
• Pursue legal action to recover funds and related fees.

3. Proof of Fulfillment

We maintain shipping records, signed delivery confirmations, and product tracking photos to provide proof of service in the event of a dispute.

Refunds

SanTan Solar processes eligible refunds as quickly as possible. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment unless otherwise noted.

• Once a return or cancellation has been approved, please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to be processed.
• Depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
• Refunds may be subject to deductions, such as:
  • Restocking fees (typically 30%);
  • Non-refundable shipping charges;
  • Payment processor transaction fees, where applicable.

Disputes

1. Informal Resolution

You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting SanTan Solar’s Customer Service team.

2. Binding Arbitration

If a resolution cannot be reached informally, both parties agree to resolve the dispute through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The arbitration will take place in Maricopa County, Arizona.

3. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

4. Limitation on Claims

Any claim or cause of action must be filed within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim, or it will be forever barred.

5. Exceptions

Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court or seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent actual or threatened infringement or misuse of intellectual property.

Liability

When assembling custom kits, we rely on the information you provide to build out the kit to meet your needs. Having any pertinent information left out or withheld may cause the kit we design to not be able to meet your needs. We are not liable or held responsible for kits or systems not being sized correctly if the system was sized appropriately for the information provided. 

You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the site is at your sole risk. The site and all products and services delivered to you through the site are (except as expressly stated by us) provided “as is” and “as available” for your use, without any representations, warranties, or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.

You agree that we will not be liable, under any circumstances, for any breach of warranty claims or for any damages arising out of a manufacturer’s failure to honor its warranty obligations to you.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us, our affiliates, and our or their directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, suppliers, service providers, and licensors, from any claim or demand, including without limitation reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, due to or arising out of: (a) your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference; (b) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party; or (c) the alleged failure or defect of any project built using products or publications purchased or otherwise obtained from us.

It is your responsibility to be familiar with the safe and correct installation and operation for all equipment and other products. We have no opportunity or responsibility to inspect or supervise the design, manufacture, application, installation, or maintenance of the components or other products used, nor to supervise and inspect the design and manufacture of solar kits or other products in which they are used. Therefore, you agree by accepting delivery of products for solar power usage, that all products will be used solely at your risk.

In no event will we, our affiliates, or our or their directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, suppliers, service providers, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including without limitation negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, arising from your use of the site or any products or services procured using the site, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the site or any product or service procured using the site or otherwise, including without limitation any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the site or any content (or product or service) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the site, even if advised of the possibility thereof. In no event will damages exceed the amounts paid to us under these terms of service. Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

The equipment sold by SanTan Solar is designed by the manufacturer to be installed only by licensed, trained, and insured solar electrical installation professionals.

We strongly advise the customer to seek the assistance of such a professional to exclusively perform the implementation of any of these products, and we make no warranty of the purchaser’s safety, success of equipment implementation, or compliance with local codes and regulations. SanTan Solar disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to, any implied warranty with respect to the accuracy or completeness of the information they disseminate and /or fitness of the materials sold for a particular purpose.

All installation advice provided by SanTan Solar before, during, or after purchase of solar equipment is purely for the purpose of general concept education and must not replace the expertise of a licensed and trained solar specialist. The Customer agrees to full indemnification for SanTan Solar henceforth from any legal recourse relating to and arising out of the installation of the products purchased by the customer.
